Art: Jim Joe, "Look Means Memorize"
Jim Joe presented his second solo exhibit with The Hole Gallery which opened April 28th and will be running until May 22nd. The show consisted of 30 smaller paintings and one larger painting and text scattered along the floors of the wall. The smaller paintings showcase his distinct handwriting with short sentiments which seem more like truths rather than opinion. The larger painting is that of a silhouette under an umbrella surrounded by rain. The wall texts are a personality assessment by a certified graphologist (name was not given) using Jim Joe's handwriting as its point of reference. Photographs taken by my Iphone and a couple snatched from The Hole's website, thumbnail courtesy of Not Jim Joe.
